Business insurance sure is ’spensive
My blog today will only be about insurance, because unfortunately I wasn’t able to spend much time working today because I’ve been playing nurse for my husband, who has an ailment that bears a strong resemblance to swine flu. Unfortunately the clinic won’t test him for it, maybe because of all of the swine flu hype, even though he shows 8 of the 10 symptoms. He even traveled to NYC and Atlanta, and ate a mexican restaurants. But will they test him? Nope.
I got a quote from one of the insurance brokers. The annual premium came in at $2103. Holy moley! That’s expensive. This costly insurance would cover my property, and the goods in transit. I was bracing myself for a high premium, but I didn’t expect it to be that high! I am checking to see if that even covers liability too. I sure hope it does. I definitely want to make sure I’m covered if someone sues me for some crazy-ass reason. The last thing I need to worry about is some nutcase eating a laptop sleeve.
OK, time to wind down early tonight and catch up on sleep. See you tomorrow!
