In my past jobs, it was always quite easy to classify my role in the big lists you get for car insurance quotes or market research.  Now it is much harder.  So far I think I have had to plump for “Education”, or “Other” amongst the choices.

Today I had to fill something in which had the option “Religion/social work”.  I can see why somebody put them together, but I could also argue why it seems a funny mix.  Are the days gone where religion is academic or teaching  or a job in it’s own right and it has become more “helping people”?
