I am wondering how does one file for auto insurance claim in Maple Grove, Minnesota? What are the things that are needed to be done? I am never involved in any vehicular accidents yet but I just wanna know so I’ll be ready when that happens. Thanks!

1. List down all the names of the drivers involved in the accident. This includes the driver’s auto insurance company, his/her policy numbers and even the plate numbers;
2. If there are any witnesses, get their names, contact numbers, and addresses.
3. Contact your auto insurance agent or the insurance department that processes the claims; and
4. Contact the other party’s auto insurance company or agent if you are going to file for a claim from them.
